In my opinion, the main stream news media and the Congressional black caucus deserve neither President Trump’s attention nor his concern for their welfare. Why should he care about anything they think? They hate him and demonstrate that hate every time the opportunity falls into their laps. Think about it: at every White House press briefing, these so-called journalists (bah) yell at the press secretary and won’t wait for an answer before yelling some more. They shout inane, nonsensical questions about things that are not of main concern to our republic or its citizens. And then, regardless of the answers they receive, they go back to their little cubicles and write whatever they want, as long as it is critical of the Trump administration. Nothing is out of bounds. Not his children, his family, his religion or his person. They are not doing the job their profession calls for: informing the American people of news happenings and occurrences and letting us determine for ourselves if they are good or bad for us. No. The MSM, broadcast and cable, will decide for us, and give us only the news that supports that hateful philosophy of theirs. They do not want to do their jobs, because they see bashing the president as an easy column to write, thus reliving themselves of any respect or responsibility for their craft. And relieve themselves they do. Just take a look at some of their rantings. I guarantee you will want to wash your hands.

The Congressional Black Caucus recently turned down an invitation to meet with President Trump in the White House. In a written statement they said his policies would, “…not only devastate the communities that we represent, but also many of the communities that supported your candidacy.” This is another group of Americans, like the main stream media, which is not doing the job for its people. Moreover, they will not and have never done the job for their people. The CBC has been in existence for 46 years, and what have they done to improve the conditions of the people they claim to represent? They’ve collected a great deal of money to insure the perpetuation of their Congressional seats, but let’s look at the facts: More black people on welfare and food stamps than ever before in history. More black people unemployed than ever in history. More black people living under the poverty line than any time in history. More blacks in jail, in gangs, being raised by single mothers, more black high school dropouts than ever before…shall I go on? These members of the CBC, while making certain their own nests are comfortably carpeted, have abandoned their people. The same people they claim to love and represent. Some representation.

Both of these groups should be dealt with in the same way by the President. To the news media, let them know that the press briefings will be held twice a week, once on Friday to recap the week, and once on Monday to recap the weekend. The ‘correspondents’ will sit in their assigned seats, listen quietly to the opening statement, and then raise their hands to ask questions in an organized and efficient manner. If they do not, and continue to scream at the press secretary with asinine, nonsensical questions, all press briefings will be suspended until proper rules of deportment can be agreed upon. What are they going to do? Lambast him in the media? Call him names on network television? Attack his family in print? Show hate and contempt for him? They already do that, so why feed them the ammunition?

To the Congressional Black Caucus I would say, you do not want to meet with the President of the United States to discuss the current plight of your people? From now on, I will give you nothing. Not even the time of day. And, since you are incapable of doing so, I will work to improve the mess you’ve made out of your communities, I will see to it that your people “…in the communities you represent…” get the fair treatment and representation they deserve. And I will ignore the CBC as much as you are ignoring me. Since you have made it clear you are not my constituency, why should I listen to, or be concerned with, anything you have to say? What are you going to do? Lambaste me in the media? Call me names on network television? Attack my family in print? Show hate and contempt for me? Hello, you already do that.

That’s what I want Trump to say, and to the CBC I say, shut your big mouths and take care of the people you claim you represent, and never forget, as long as you serve in Congress, just who is Muhammad and who is the mountain.

Seize the Truth!
